Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud was one of the earliest converts to Islam and a close companion of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). He hailed from the tribe of Banu Huzail in Mecca and was known for his strong commitment to learning and teaching the Qur’an.
