Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud was one of the earliest converts to Islam and a close companion of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). He hailed from the tribe of Banu Huzail in Mecca and was known for his strong commitment to learning and teaching the Qur’an. Renowned for his deep knowledge, he served as an authority on Islamic jurisprudence and played a significant role in transmitting hadith. ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud’s recitation of the Qur’an was highly praised by the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
